Portraits

A selection of portraits that I did a while back for various people.

Animeted!

I wanted to draw something in a manga style but with by with an air of realism, this was the result.

Epping Chapel Art Gallery

Yesterday I took part in an exhibition at Epping Chapel along with four other local artists.  Hopefully I will be featured in the local paper but time will tell.

It was great to exchange creative banter with other artists as well as the locals that came down.  I am extremely grateful for the praise and discussion and I would like to say a big thank you to all of those that came down.

These were six pieces that I drew specifically for the gallery exhibition.

I also hosted another four pictures, as well as my largest print (the Kraken one) that are my personal favourites.

Feature: Japan

I have drawn quite a lot of Japan-themed art in the past year or so, and I always seem to get a lot of positive feedback about this collection, so I thought it was time to do a feature on all my Japan themed pieces.

Check them all out below. As always, if you are interested in purchasing some of these, some are on my Big Cartel store, whilst others can be purchased by sending me an email at twinswordtrading@hotmail.co.uk.

16 Free Ipod Backgrounds

Due to the success of Twin Sword Trading, I have decided to give away smaller digital versions of my art, in the form of ipod backgrounds.

All of these images are 320X480 and are a perfect fit for most ipods/iphones

They are all pieces of my original art and most of the images selected are based on my most popular prints.
If you wish to use one just click the image to enlarge it and then save it.

Thanks for the support and I hope you enjoy the backgrounds.

LFCC Roundup Post!

Hey all,

I had a fantastic weekend at the London Film & Comic Con. The stall was a great success, I received so many positive comments and plenty of people loved the prints. The big sellers included Red Queen, Pac-Man, Stormtroopet, Hello From Japan, Ever Dance With The Devil In The Pale Moonlight.

Day 1: Table pretty much ready, and waiting for opening time!

Kayleigh (aka 8-Bit Girl) manning my stall!

People seemed to love my style, and the "masked women", such as Stormtroopet generated a lot of laughs, so they'll be plenty more in this series (look out for a Minecraft Creeper soon)! Check out some of the photos I took below.

I was selling a whole frame of prints for £30. The buyer could choose the prints for the frame.

Another of my frames.

The third and final frame!

Toucan, Dredd, Lucky Kitty and Dalek stickers were being sold. Goodie bag winners also got one of these!

Some of the small prints on sale. These got a lot of attention! :)

The folder full of all my A4 prints that I was selling.

Kayleigh (8-Bit Girl) with a brilliant Jack Sparrow!

Thank you for all the support throughout the weekend, it was great to hear so much positive feedback. The winner of the print giveaway which was running throughout the LFCC weekend on my stall will be announced in a few days via a random selection. Keep checking out the blog for the winner, and many more updates!
