I'm Donating Artwork to Livability!

I am donating some of my artwork to the Livability Fun Day on the 17th August 2014.

Livability gives disabled and disadvantaged people real choice about how they live their lives. The UK's largest Christian disability charity, I am pleased to be able to donate some of my artwork for selling at the event, with all proceeds from the sales going directly to the charity.

Livability's Fun Day takes place in Paringdon Sports and Social Club in Harlow, with the fun day side of things kicking off at 12pm until 5pm on Sunday 17th August 2014.

More details are available in the flyer attached below. Whether or not you would like to see what artwork I have donated, and made available for purchase from the charity, it's guaranteed to be a fun event to head on down to!

Open Gardens Gallery Event

This weekend my artwork will be in two venues at once!

Four pieces of my artwork are on display at Epping Green Chapel this Saturday.  This will be as part of the Open Gardens scheme that takes place across the UK.  This is a scheme that raises money for seven different charities throughout the year.

If you are around in the area, feel free to have a browse and partake in some cream teas.  Money from the event goes to charity.

Regretfully I shall not be there as I will be attending the MCM Comic Convention in London this weekend.  But my work will be there alongside the work of other local artists.

Favour In Fun!

I am pleased to announce that I am currently working on a side-blog/project, called Favour In Fun.

The blog features plenty of word searches, dot-to-dots, colouring sheets, activity books and more which are designed mainly for children. Each piece that I have created can be purchased by placing a donation of £1 or more via the Paypal link on the blog. All proceeds will be going to my chosen charities, Multiple Sclerosis charity MS Trust and Mental Health charity Mind. 

Once a donation has been made, the donator can get in touch with me to request which sheets they had paid for. These will then be sent in a PDF and will be available for the donator to print off and use as they wish!

My activity books and individual sheets have gone down well with younger children so far, so I really hope you all like them too.

I'm Exhibiting My Art at London City Hall!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I shall be exhibiting some of my game themed art at a gallery exhibition during the 22nd-26th October 2012. My art, along with the other artists taking part, will then be auctioned off for charity Special Effect.

This free to attend gallery will be running for five days at the City Hall, home of the London Mayor. Check out the press release below:

Running at City Hall, home of the London Mayor, this five-day exhibition will celebrate the home grown creative talent within the interactive entertainment industry comprising rare pieces donated by developers, publishers and artists. It will include original one-off concept designs, storyboards, digitally created images, wire framed drawings, sculptures, rendered images and all artistic designs that have been created for use within games and interactive entertainment. 

At the end of the exhibition, these pieces will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to games charity Special Effect, which is dedicated to making gaming, music and art accessible to all young people with disabilities. 

Pieces from Guerrilla Games, Capcom, Sports Interactive, Team 17, Warner Bros, Pop Cap, Aldorlea, Marby, Jagex, Lewis Terry, Jess Bradley, Kate Brown, Konami, Lady Shotgun, Lauren Mann, Jacob McAlister, Marcus ‘Archymedius’ Freeman, Media Molecule, Mikaël ‘Orioto’ Aguirre, Omni-Labs, Ronzo, Selena ‘Reaperfox’ Thomas, and ZeptoLab have already been confirmed – with many more promised before the exhibition opens on 22^nd October. 

“This is a real coup for this year’s London Games Festival,” says event director Kirsty Payne. “The generosity of the games industry continues to astonish – we’ve already been donated some incredible pieces which have never been seen in public before. So not only will it make a fascinating exhibition of very rare art, it’ll raise a significant amount for Special Effect.

Recent Activity

Recently I have been preparing for a gallery that will be in Epping Green Chapel on the 13th of October, as well as getting some prints ready for the London Games Festival charity auction at London City Hall from the 22nd - 26th of October.

I shall also be attending Entertainment Media Show at the Olympia Grand Hall in London on the 7-8th of October.

All in all I have been very busy as well as still working my full time job.

Charity Project On The Way...

Things are quite busy at the moment. I've packed up work for the summer holidays, and will not be returning until September, so it gives me a lot more time to get commissions and projects done!



As well as a bunch of commissions which I am currently working on, I'm also in the process of finalizing a charity project, which I will reveal soon in a post via this blog. They'll also be a dedicated site for it. I don't want to reveal anything as of yet, as I love surprises, but it's going to be a good one. :)
