On Mental Health, Art and Faith

Today I was the speaker at the Epping Green Chapel's Mens Breakfast.  I spoke about overcoming my struggles with mental health, my art career and how I found my faith.  

It was nice to get such a positive reaction from such a mixed crowd of gents.  It was nice to share and inspire others both from faith and non-faith beliefs.

After the speech I also gave the chapel a stack of prints so that anyone that liked them could take them.  All in all I am glad that Paul approached me and I am pleased to be a part of such a positive thing.

I'm Featured in the Guardian Gazette!

I exhibited some of my art at the Epping Green Chapel art exhibition on the 13th October 2012. I featured photos and information the day after, but I'm pleased to post that the local newspaper, the Guardian Gazette have run a piece on the gallery via their website and newspaper.

Yesterday I exhibited my art at Epping Green Chapel's "Creativity" Art Exhibition. My last post featured all of the art I decided to bring along and exhibit, whilst this one includes photos from the exhibition itself.

I'm Exhibiting At A FREE Gallery At Epping Green Chapel This Saturday!

This Saturday I am exhibiting my art at Epping Green Chapel alongside four other local artists on the 13th October 2012.

Alongside my art drawn especially for the gallery exhibition, I will also be bringing along a selection of my A4 prints, business cards and more. Prints will be available to purchase on the day, or later on via my store or blog if you wish to pick one up!

The gallery is free to attend, and is open from 11am-5pm that day. People are welcome to drop in any time they wish during the allotted time. Local press shall be coming down to photograph and report it too, which is great news! 

So if you happen to be anywhere near Epping or Epping Green on the 13th October, please feel free to stop in and check out the art on offer. Each artist offers a different chosen medium, so there will be plenty of variety! Also, if you could spread the word of this, that would be fantastic. The more who know about it, the better!

Recent Activity

Recently I have been preparing for a gallery that will be in Epping Green Chapel on the 13th of October, as well as getting some prints ready for the London Games Festival charity auction at London City Hall from the 22nd - 26th of October.

I shall also be attending Entertainment Media Show at the Olympia Grand Hall in London on the 7-8th of October.

All in all I have been very busy as well as still working my full time job.

I have booked up a table at The Entertainment Media Show on the 6-7th October!

The con is a mix of TV, comics, memorabilia, sports and art, and I have already got a whole bunch of ideas planned, stock ordered and packed away, etc. I shall be in the artists section, so if you plan to attend, I hope you are able to swing by my stall to check out what I am exhibiting before you go to meet the celebrities!

As before, I'll be taking along a sheet where you can sign up to enter for some free prints (it went down well last time), and they'll be plenty of new art on offer! Even if you don't plan on buying anything when you head to the con, it'll be nice to talk to you guys!

Church Art Exhibition

I am exhibiting some of my art at the local Church on the 12th October. I'll update with more details close to the time, and am planning on putting up some shots of the gallery after it has all finished. Stay tuned!

So for now I am incredibly busy preparing for a convention and an exhibition. It's all very exciting though!
