Callida Atelus
Noble born and brought up on the small Paradise world Jazzalon, Callida has no knowledge of the harsh realities of life.
As a man of no firm moral grounding, Callida spent his days in exquisite wilderness that surrounded his home town. Leaping from tree to tree, shooting wild animals and humiliating the other locals. Callida always made sure that he looked better than those around him both male and female. His sole aim was to be the most beautiful being in the whole of Jazzalon.
Whilst he often won the charms of both sexes on his planet and was always the talk of the town, he had no concern for the affections of others stating: "The only person fit to love me is myself."
Soon after Callida went on a spontaneous hunt and murdered the last of the Shining Moroes (The most beautiful and elegant beasts across the whole of Jazzalon) he was called to stand in the royal council chambers.
When question and put to trial, he confessed his crime with a passion stating that he did the planet a deep and meaningful favour, as such creatures were beneath true beauty.
Callida was then banished off world and forced into the service of the intergalactic military, a punishment no one on Jazzalon had been sentenced to in over half a century.
