Royal: Three's a Company

Pola- Royal's protagonist.

Now that I have set up everything for my gallery I have commenced work on Royal.  After two years I would like to put some time aside for it once again.

Royal: Three's a Company originally was released on the 26th Febuary 2013.  I had a small run of one-hundred produced and they all sold out.  having improved in both my artwork, presentation and writing I am looking at making it the comic I always wanted it to be.

It is a selfish venture, as I am not doing it for profit or with an audience in mind.  I am writing it for myself and my sister that invented the stories back when we were kids.  I hope others appreciate it too but really I just want to give the story the time it deserves.

Dredd: 2 Year Anniversary

It has been 2 years to the day that Dredd hit cinemas in the UK.  I'm still hoping for a sequel and having just signed up to the nice hard-cover fortnightly graphic novel collection, I thought I should pay tribute the series.

The top right was drawn in February of this year whilst the rest were drawn back in 2012.

Lest We Forget

Today is the 100th anniversary of Britain entering WWI.

Take some time to pay your respects to our fallen ancestors.

Daddy of the Dead

George Andrew Romero is my largest inspiration.  Not only is he the Godfather of the modern zombie but most of the stuff I am into has also been influence by him.  From Tarantino to Resident Evil.  My love of horror started with the original Dawn of the Dead and grew from there.

Today I get to meet him and I am looking forward to it!

Batman

I was linked to a rather misguided Batman Father's Day card today.  It inspired me to draw this.

The card in question.
No matter what message you are trying to send to your Dad, it's not cool.

Aldercy: Dead

A quick portrait drawn for a personal project.

It looks awful on a large scale, but it is intended to be used about this size.

The Badass of Cinema

Since 1948 Christopher Lee has starred in at least 2 films a year.  Not only has he starred in 280 different titles but he has also portrayed some of the most memorable villains of all time, from his days in Hammer Horror, to the Hobbit.

Not many men can claimed to have been a Professor, a Detective,a Captain, a Colonel, a Major, a Prince, a Lord, a King, a Count, a doctor, a wizard, a magician, a bond villain, Dracula, a mummy, the Devil, Sherlock Holmes and Mycroft, Fu Manchu as well as one of the most memorable narrators of all time.

For me, Christopher Lee is not only the greatest British actor of all time but also Cinema's Biggest Baddass.

A single page comic for my series of lessons that I am teaching on comics, covering flashbacks as a feature.
Linked to History: Romans and the Celts

The task is to create a single page comic, with a flashback and a history focus.

Blood Moon

So recently I have been playing Terraria with a pal. I have to say I am hooked and get way too into my own little adventures.

My character "Big Balls" Bill was supposed to be major macho, however he ended up with a flower in his hair, a purple shirt and tight "Ninja Pants". As the adventure has gone on he has just got more and more effeminate. Despite this he still has beaten plenty of horrors that would make mere mortals crap their undies. Recently having saved his tenants from a blood moon zombie invasion, he has got even more badass.
