Merry Christmas Everyone!

This year has been great for my artistic ventures.  I have really enjoyed the cons, had the most successful MCM ever and now I also have a gallery exhibition on the horizon.

This picture was drawn not only to celebrate the new year but also to commemorate the new year of Royal.

Lately I have been rather busy with a new job in teaching and also getting 18 new pieces ready for my exhibition Reflective Rhythms, but when the new year comes I shall commence work on Royal.  James is prepared and ready to go with a few stories and I am well on my way to re-creating the original Royal to make it more like a comic.

The good news is that it will all also be free to read on this blog once it is created.

This year alone I have drawn 236 new finished pictures and there is still a good few days to go yet.  Hopefully next year will be just as creative.

Great Prints, Stickers and Even a T-Shirts!

For the last two years I have used a few different print shops and other places to get my work printed.  I have tried printing things myself and have been met with much frustration.  Now finally thanks to Marisa I have found a place I am happy with.

Copy Print in Bromley has produced the best prints I have ever received and made up a huge selection of things that I have never had before, such as T-shirts and stickers.

Due to their work and the tenacity of Marisa I not only attended the MCM (which I was going to back out of) but also sold more than I ever have done before.  

I could not recommend their print shop more highly and I wanted to give a shout out to them for all of their hard work and praise.  Maybe one day I will get to meet the team in person.

MCM Weekend!

I wasn't going to attend this years MCM despite having a table, however due to the encouragement of friends I have decided to go ahead and do it anyway.

This year thanks to Marisa Cherry Brook, I also have stickers and a T-shirt!

I am really excited for it and I look forward to seeing you there.

I shall be at C7 in the artist alley.  So come on down!

Angel

I had a dream a month back about an Angel.  I have an upcoming gallery exhibition and I needed to draw some nicer pictures for it.  Here is one of them.

LFCC: Summary

I arrived at the London Film & Comic Con on Saturday 6th July. After a slow start (people didn't seem very interested in the Artists Alley for much of Saturday morning!), things really picked up for my table. 

My comic, 'Royal' is now completely sold out, and I am currently in the process of producing the second edition. This second edition will have updated artwork, any small errors in the first edition are being refined, and so on. In short, it's going to be a vast improvement. 

Also, thank you to everyone who visited my stall and picked up prints, a comic or my art book Hidden Beauties. To those who came over simply for a chat, I appreciate you checking out my work regardless!

So all in all, despite the quiet morning, I sold out on several prints again, Royal's sold out and I met some brilliant fellow Artist Alley people. Also, it was nice seeing the regulars once more!

A special thank you to Deakin and Marisa Brook of Newfangled Press/Inanimate Objectives for their hospitality over the weekend. Both myself and my Fiancee appreciated it!

My next convention appearance will be at the London MCM Comic Con in October. I look forward to seeing plenty of you there!

Twin Sword Trading: New Horizons

The MCM treated me well in many ways.  I was successful, sold a bunch of art, comics and also met some brilliant people.  As of today a much broader range of talent has come to Twin Sword Trading.  Royal is now able to branch out and expand as a selection of very talented artists have come on board to showcase their talents.

L n' R T Collaborations, will now be bringing you more Royal based stories as well as taking over Mr. Bear.  Myself (Lewis Terry) and my sister (co-creator of Royal and the world surrounding it) Rebecca Terry, will be teaming up to deliver the stories that we have created over the past 14 years.

James Stayte has already created some work alongside me on the short Janet and in the future shall be lending his hand to a few Prince related tales.

Anna Harris, a writer and budding manga artist is co-writing parts of Voodoo and Lollipops as well as drawing the odd Mr Bear.

Hopefully we shall see another couple of artists join the team as well, I am just waiting for the conformation.  However that is a solid team of six all working on Royal and it's world.  I am lucky to have so many people interested and dedicated to this comic.
