Along the Avenue

A preview piece from a small project to get me back into comics.
It is going to be pretty rough and brief.

Daily Doodle: The Tiger Who Came to Tea

A book that I rediscovered in adulthood and found the Tiger to be damn creepy and sinister.  Today's Daily Doodle prompt was The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

Here was my tribute to the book.

Pause N' Paint #17, #18

UwantmeKilllhim (2000)  3.5/5

This film was shot in my home town.  I happened to see it being shot one day when I was on my lunch break from work.  When I enquired to what was going on they basically told me to sod off.  I assumed that it was some college production, then I happened to see the film on Netflix a day ago and decided to watch it.

It's pretty weird seeing a film shot where you live.  Due to my experience with the shoot I wanted to hate it, but it was alright.

The Queen's Golden Jubilee

I drew these in celebration of the Queen's Golden Jubilee.  Sadly neither of my predictions came true.  She wasn't a Terminator and did not ascend to the glory of an Old One.

Landscape Studies

These were among the first digital paintings I did.  They took me days and were very frustrating despite using direct photo reference.  Still I have copies of both in the house as they are both very tranquil compared to the rest of my art.

Pause N' Paint #8

Lights Out (2013) Short Film.
Winner: Best Director in the Who's There? Category.

This film really re-creates that fear of the dark/being alone that you have as a child. It is short, sweet and most importantly it delivers.

I have put the film in below.
It contains strong themes of horror and suspense and will be disturbing to some viewers.

Monday

So Monday was a pretty bad day.  I felt like hell had come to swallow me up and the day also went pretty badly.  Later on I was told that it was statistically the most depressing day of the year; this fact helped me through.

I later found out that it wasn't true and it is all based on "Pseudo-science". regardless I thought I would draw an incarnation of the days evil.

Here is Monday:
